Privacy Policy & Data Protection Policy

Euro-Matic UK Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We follow with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and all relevant data protection laws.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. It also outlines your rights and how to exercise them.

Who We Are

We supply specialist plastic ball products to both commercial and private customers. Our registered office is in London. We store all personal data securely on servers located within the European Union.

We never sell or share your information with third parties. Data is collected only when there is a lawful reason—such as processing orders, maintaining communication, or sending marketing content with your consent.

Your Rights Under the GDPR

The UK GDPR gives you eight key rights regarding your personal information. Below is how we support each one:

1. Being Informed About Data Collection

You have the right to understand:

  • The types of data we collect
  • Why we collect it
  • How long we keep it
  • Your related rights

We collect data only when necessary to:

  • Support our business relationship
  • Deliver products or services
  • Send marketing communications, with your permission

You can give consent during a phone order, online purchase, or direct communication. If you opt out of marketing and we have no contact with you for six years, we will delete your data permanently.

To withdraw consent or raise a concern, contact us by email or post. We usually reply within 28 days.

2. Accessing Your Personal Data

A copy of your data may be requested and ask how we use it. We respond to most requests within 28 days. For complex requests, we notify you and agree on an extension.

3. Correcting Inaccurate or Incomplete Data

If any information we hold is incorrect or incomplete, tell us and we will update your records—usually within 28 days.

4. Requesting Data Deletion

You can ask us to erase your data when:

  • It is no longer needed
  • You withdraw consent
  • If you believe we processed it unlawfully

Please note that deletion may stop us from continuing to provide certain services.

5. Restricting Data Processing

Processing can be paused under certain conditions:

  • If the data appears incorrect
  • In cases where you have objected to its use
  • A legal claim requires us to keep it temporarily

6. Transferring Your Data

You can request your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format such as CSV or Excel. This makes it easy to transfer your data to another provider. We complete these requests within 28 days at no cost.

7. Objecting to Data Use

Individuals may object to:

  • Receiving marketing communications
  • Certain processing activities based on our legitimate interests

Once we receive a valid objection, we stop the relevant processing unless the law requires us to continue.

8. Automated Decisions and Profiling

We use simple automated tools to customise marketing messages based on your preferences or order history. These tools do not make decisions that carry legal or similarly significant effects.

If you prefer not to receive automated marketing, you can opt out by withdrawing your consent.
